Emerson Lopes Junior is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 3rd Degree Black Belt under Master Rogério Olegario / HJJT (Horse Jiu-Jisu Team) which is in the city of Londrina - Brazil. Emerson earned his black belt in 2011 and has been studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 24 years.

After his promotion to Black Belt, Emerson moved to Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates. It was there that he had the opportunity to gain experience by teaching military forces for almost 10 years, allowing him to enrich his knowledge/skills of training and learning within diverse communities and backgrounds.

In 2021 Emerson settled in Prescott, Ontario where he taught and trained at a nearby school. It was recently (2022) that he opened Lopes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

For more then 18 years, Emerson has taught children, adults, and seniors, while possessing the enthusiasm to support their learning and well-being. This ensures his dedication to the field of training and sharing best practices that he has learned and employed during his teaching career.
